Anxiety over Olu of Warri

There was anxiety yesterday over the health condition of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse II.

Sunday Sun learnt that the first class monarch was in­disposed and hospitalized.

The anxiety was height­ened with a report in the social media, speculating the mon­arch’s passage. However, when contact­ed, a younger brother to the king, Prince Yemi Emiko dismissed the report as un­founded.

He added that if anything of such had happened, the appropriate authority would have made it known to the public.

The prince who recently contested the Delta South senatorial seat advised the social media to desist from publishing rumours.
